Sundays on Broadway and curator Cathy Weis present an evening of performances by Gregory Corbino, Jennifer Miller, and Lucy Sexton.

Gregory Corbino presents Organ Grinder Song No. 2: brushstrokes, an illuminated painting performance for voice, brushstroke and light.

Jennifer Miller, circus director and itinerant dancer, will perform Vermont Migrations, five and a half short dances germinated deep in the rolling hills of Trump country.

Lucy Sexton will perform as The Factress with help from her backup team: Dance Explosion. The Factress is confused and upset about almost everything and will express it in movement and ranting. Fun!

Artists' Bios:

Gregory Corbino (Tenor, Puppeteer, Production Designer) has worked with Cathy Weis since 2015 as the production designer for Time Travel with Madam Xenogamy and The Building Show. His vocal and movement performance work includes collaborations with Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir, Ensemble Pi, Bread and Puppet Theater, John Heganbotham Dance and Circus Amok.

Jennifer Miller is the director and founder of Circus Amok – a one ring, no animal, free political, circus extravaganza that has toured the parks of New Your annually since 1994. She is the recipient of an OBIE, a “Bessie”, and the 2008 Ethyl Eichelberger Award, along with numerous grants from the NEA, NYSCA, DCA, MAP, NYFA and others. Besides touring her own work internationally, she performs with several choreographers and performance artists including Jennifer Monson, Cathy Weis and Vaginal Crème Davis. She had a 10-year stint at Coney Island Sideshow by the Seashore. She is a Professor of Performance at Pratt Institute.

Lucy Sexton is a choreographer, performer, producer, and director who works in the fields of dance, theater, film, and advocacy. Since 1983, she and Anne Iobst have created and performed the dance performance duo DANCENOISE. Born in the East Village club world in 1983, DANCENOISE had a retrospective exhibit and performance at the Whitney Museum in 2015, and premiered a new piece at NY Live Arts in 2018. Performing as The Factress, Sexton hosted The Lucy Show and has performed in countless NY clubs and theaters.  In theater, Sexton directed the off-Broadway plays Spalding Gray; Stories Left to Tell and Tom Murrin’s The Magical Ridiculous Journey of Alien Comic; served as dramaturge for Heather Litteer’s Lemonade, and Nora Burns’ David’s Friend; and she produced the Charles Atlas documentaries The Legend of Leigh Bowery for the BBC and TURNING with Ahnoni and the Johnsons, and was Associate Producer for Madeleine Olnek’s Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same.
